Taxus baccata Zöld

Height: 0,8–1 m

This variety is an evergreen yew with a broad, bushy habit and bright foliage, which can be an excellent alternative to boxwood. Its emerald green leaves in summer and dark green leaves in winter adorn the garden all year round. Its height can reach 4-5m and its width 2-3m. It is a female variety, with red berries. It likes a sunny or partly shaded spot. It is not fussy about soil. Its water needs are moderate. It tolerates our winters well, and its frost hardiness is reliable down to -25 °C. It can be planted as a specimen tree, pruned, or grown as a free-growing hedge.
